For any other noobs that come across this post, don’t make the dumb mistake i did by not entering an “A” record that points to your static IP address in the main Zone on your server. I was doing everything else BUT this.

wow…. talk about the ultimate negative result that can be found in social applications. I’m not so sure i have an opinioin on the rights and wrongs of this other than to say that perhaps social relevance within our networks would have deinitely eliminated this backlash.

if you use a mac and you use apples address ook application, you may find it to be a little quirky about importing contacts as CSV files. This little app helps make getting your contacts into Address book 110% pain in the ass free. Trust me, i tried many solutions to make it work and this is by far the best soultion out there.
